@iLCreation on Twitter is the Justin Bieber / VEVO Hacker

From the site Inagist, a stream of related tweets about a subject, its been clear that a young guy, the 13 year old Fayzann Tariq from Pakistan, has claimed he is responsible for taking down several VEVO artists channels on Youtube. But from watching his Tweets he starts of argueing it is NOT HIM who did it, and over that next hour or two on his tweets its been clear that he has given up explaining he didnt do it, and just has fun with all the attention. For now i dont know what to believe – so lets find out later on!

Justin Bieber removed from Youtube!

If you’re browsing the Twittersphere right now, you might notice that the trending topics list is saturated with pop music references. Many TTs are due to last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, but some are there thanks to the work of one iLCreation.

Music videos from the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and more are officially down on YouTube right now.

First, and most importantly to the tweens on Twitter, is the outage of the Justin Bieber VEVO channel. All of his videos have been removed based on a copyright claim from iLCreative (as you can see from the lead image).

Other casualties of iLCreative’s rampage? Rhianna. Her video for “What’s My Name?” currently bears the same takedown notice. Users on Twitter are also reporting missing videos from Bruno Mars, Beyonce, and Miley Cyrus.

In a strange twist of events Justin Bieber’s popularity has come back to haunt him. The overwhelming success of his hit song ‘Baby’ has attracted over 1.5 million dislikes on Youtube. His video has well over half a billion views, 583,376,364 to be exact. This however doesn’t it make it immune to Youtube’s algorithm that weighs heavily the number of likes vs. dislikes of a video to decide whether or not to pull it.

Youtube’s decision has created a an uproar among Justin Bieber fans on Twitter, where they’ve created the trending topic Dear Youtube to voice their displeasure. Some have even gone so far as to say they will boycott Youtube and jokingly threatened bodily harm to the website’s staff.
